SELECTING AND SPECIFYING THE PRODUCT

1 Product Description and Suitable Applications

With Sealtec's expertise in waterproof membrane systems and our technical partnership with international membrane manufacturers and suppliers Pazkar Ltd , the Master Roof Liquid Applied Membrane System was developed for:

  • Waterproofing flat and low sloping roofs.
  • Renovating old flat and low sloping roofs.
  • Resurface existing bitumen flat and low sloping roofs.
  • Asbestos Encapsulation. (specific design only)

Master Roof is suitable for application to concrete, fibre cement, wet area timber sheeting and external grade plywood surfaces –see Substrate Requirements and Compatibility for full details.
Master Roof has been tested for 3000 hours of QUV Accelerated Weathering.

Sealtec Waterproofing Systems are a complete membrane solution, supported by a range of specialty products to provide assurance and security against the penetration of water in any form.

The Master Roof Liquid Applied Membrane System is a white hybrid polymeric waterproofing and coating material resistant to extreme temperatures and to ponding water. Master Roof features excellent solar reflectivity and emissivity properties. The material is applied as a thick paste forming a seamless, decorative and flexible membrane that prevents water penetration and extends roof life.

Sealtec has incorporated SealFLEX 80 and 150 reinforcement tape for under flashings, ply joints, movement joints, cracks, general detailing and extra internal external corner gusseting in critical areas, to be applied as part of the system.

Sealtec specify all ancillary products to be used as part of the Master Roof Liquid Applied Membrane System for ease of design and application.

This system consists of a two coat hybrid polymeric spray applied membrane:
First layer Master Roof applied directly to a primed substrate, followed by a second layer of Master Roof applied directly over the Master Roof base layer taking care to apply at different directions to the previous layer.

This system creates a two coat membrane system totalling up to 3mm thick.

2 Product List

The Master Roof Liquid Applied Membrane System includes these ancillary products:
